Common Criteria/NIAP Security Certification
In the United States, NIAP (National Information Assurance Partnership, a collaboration of NISA and NSA) directs the national Common Criteria program used to meet the security testing, evaluation, and assessment needs of both information technology (IT) producers and consumers for Cryptographic Modules products (such as authentication tokens, firewalls, etc.) for manufacturers. Internationally, the Common Criteria requirements are also recognized world-wide as ISO-15408.

Valicore works with your development team to help your product achieve FIPS certification at Evaluation Assurances Levels of EAL2, EAL3 or EAL4. Valicore's security certification experience includes evaluations of USB-based authentication tokens and smart card-based authentication tokens based on a DoD supplied EAL Level 4 augmented Protection Profile.

The Valicore team can help your company with almost any kind of Common Criteria/NIAP project:

Planning for the project
Assessing the requirements of a selected Protection Profile
Designing Common Criteria (CC) requirements
Preparing CC-required technical documents, including the Security Target
Preparing CC-required Security Assurance documents
Implementing CC-compliant software or embedded code
Assistance with completing the CC-required correspondence (tracing) of all Security Functions
Preparing CC Functional Test Plans
Assisting with the selection of a Common Criteria testing laboratory
Providing CC Certification project management
